Scheduler for NT 4.0

Scheduler 2.0 For Windows 2000, NT 4.0 and Win 95/98

The Scheduler program installs as a service under Windows. It allows you to specify when a particular program should run on your NT 4.0 (Workstation or Server) or Windows 2000 (Professional or Server). The scheduled program can be one meant to run under the current NT logon, or it can even be a program that runs as a service under Windows. There are two parts to scheduling a program in Scheduler -- determining what time of day the program should run and what day(s) of the week [or month] the program should run.

Scheduler sets up the time of day a program should run in one of two ways:

  1. At predetermined times during the day. For example, a program could be set up to run at 8:30am and 5:30pm every Tuesday, or at 12:01am every morning.

  2.
  3. Continuously, at a specified interval during the day. For example, a program could be set up to run every three hours on Friday.

The day(s) of the week [or month] a program should run can be set up in several ways within Scheduler. The program can be scheduled to run everyday, on certain day(s) of the week (e.g. every Monday and Wednesday), [on certain date(s) of the month (e.g. every 15th of the month) or at times based on the day and week (e.g. the first and third Thursday of every month).] Scheduler is the most versatile scheduling utility available for NT 4.0 and Win 95/98 -- both in terms of the type of programs that can be scheduled and the times at which programs can be set to begin execution.
